So, last night we traded in our chefs coats and non-slip shoes for bow-ties and patent leather loafers to attend the annual Harford United Charities Gala to raise funds for the new cancer center at Upper Chesapeake. We were asked to donate our time and cooking prowess for auction, the generous winner of the auction gets a private catered dinner for 10 by us. We went for $3,100, how bout them apples? Then to top it off, the runner-up wanted it so badly we decided to give away another dinner for them. So we raised $6,200. We were the biggest donation getter at the event. This to us is beyond humbling. We are just two guys in a truck cooking food and to get this much attention is just really hard to believe. We are very grateful to be able to help in this way.
